Have you ever played copycat? Someone claps, and you clap. Someone hops, and you hop. Jesus gave His friends a special game like that. He said, love one another, just like I have loved you. Watch how I love, He said. Then do the same! How does Jesus love you? He listens when you talk to Him. He forgives you when you mess up. He never, ever gives up on you. That is big, strong, cozy love. So when you share your snack, or hug someone who is sad, or say kind words, you are copying Jesus. And here is the best part. Jesus keeps filling your heart with His love, so you never run out. His love always comes first.
